Celebration of Teachers’ Day in Prananath College (Autonomous), Khordha organized by IDFC First Bank, Khordha. Theme: Thank You for always putting my education First. A meeting was held to commemorate the Teachers’ Day and in honor of teachers’ community a cake cutting was held. The bank officials and some of the alumni of this college expressed their views on the significance of the Teachers’ Day.

A seminar talk was organised by department of mathematics , Prananath College (Auto.), Khordha on 10.8.22 at 1.15 pm in Common Computer Lab. Topic : "Finite Difference Method - Using MATLAB". Resource Person : Dr. Shreekant Dash , lecturer in Mathematics, Banki College ( Auto ), Banki , Cuttack. On behalf of the principal Prof. Debi Prasad Patnaik (controller of examinations) was presided over the meeting. Welcome address was given by Prof. Patnaik. Introduction speech on the topic and the resource person was given by Prof. Narayan Baliarsingh-HOD (Math) . Dr . Shreekant Dash delivered his talk on the said topic ( 1.25 pm to 2.25 pm). Question-answer session held from 2.25pm to 2.45 pm. The seminar was ended with a vote of thanks( given by Dr. Soumyendra Mishra) to the resource person and all participants . Faculty members ( Dr. Purnima Nayak , Dr. Krishna Manjari Sahu , Sri Durga Charan Nayak ,Dr Mita Sharma )of mathematics department along with more than 80 number of under graduate students were participated in the seminar.
