With the initiative of the Govt. of India as well as Govt. of Odisha, various schools and colleges have established Red Ribbon Club with an intention of spreading awareness over HIV/AIDS through student mass. It is a movement that instil & use of consciousness and clarity in mind of students to extend their help to HIV/AIDS Patients. As per the instructions given by OSAC a Red Ribbon Club has been establish under Youth Red Cross Unit of our institution. The students are encouraged and motivated to join the Red Ribbon Club / Youth Red Cross to help people suffering from or living with HIV/AIDS. The club many a time organise blood donation camp for donating blood to the needy. Any student can join the Red Ribbon Club / Youth Red Cross as a volunteer and educate himself/herself regarding prevention of HIV/AIDS and other related issues (STD).
